High technology, anti-stick surface

DecorFlou® “EasyClean” is a satin-finished glass sheet: thanks to a high-tech chemical process, its surface features a water-repellent layer consisting of a polimerised fluoridate organic compound with a contact angle with water of approx. 120° (non-treated DecorFlou® glass features an angle of contact of approx. 35°).
Such plasma-chemical treatment is carried out on plasma equipment of large dimensions (given the size of sheets it is applied to) known as PECVD (Plasma Enhanced Chemical Vapour Deposition) by OmniDecor® in cooperation with a major Italian University Department, a state-of-the-art centre for plasma-chemical research.

The treatment makes DecorFlou® satin-finished glass extra-easy to clean: no calcareous residue or dirt particle can stick to the surface, made anti-stick by the plasma-chemical treatment. Cleaning requires water only: no chemical products or detergents are needed.

The water-repellent layer applied to DecorFlou® glass is extremely long-lasting.

This new surface treatment for DecorFlou® glass has been achieved thanks to years of research and development, a clear evidence of OmniDecor® state-of-the-art know-how in the field.
